668 αιτήσεις για υποτροφίες ελλήνων σε 15 χώρες του Εξωτερικού

Συνολικά 668 έγκυρες αιτήσεις υποβλήθηκαν ηλεκτρονικά από “Ελληνες πολίτες για τις υποτροφίες που προσφέρουν οι κυβερνήσεις 15 χωρών στο πλαίσιο των Διμερών Μορφωτικών Συμφωνιών με την Ελλάδα. Οι υποτροφίες αφορούν προπτυχιακές και μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές, έρευνα, και θερινό σεμινάριο γλώσσας και πολιτισμού.

2012 International Fulbright Science and Technology Award

The Fulbright Foundation in Greece (www.fulbright.gr) is pleased to announce
the new 2012 International Fulbright Science and Technology Award for
outstanding foreign students. The award is designed to be among the most
prestigious international scholarships in science and technology. The
International Fulbright Science and Technology award is for PhD study at top
U.S. institutions in science, technology, or engineering. The program is
funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the State
Department (ECA) and aims to convey the message that the U.S. remains the
premier destination for serious scientific study and research, and that
America not only welcomes top notch talent, but also encourages future
leaders to shape their careers through U.S. study.

For 2012, approximately 40 awards will be granted worldwide for candidates
who demonstrate unique aptitude and innovation in scientific fields. A
worldwide competition for 2012 is conducted to select top Science and
Technology Award PhD participants eligible for study and research at
prestigious U.S. institutions. The program is fully funded for the first 3
years; After three years, U.S. universities are expected to cover the
remaining expenses toward completion of a Ph.D.

Applicants must be citizens of Greece and must apply through the Fulbright
Foundation in Greece (Vassilissis Sophias 6, 106 74 Athens, tel nr +30 210
724 1811 ext 3, email: greekprogram@fulbright.gr ). Applicants must not be
living in the U.S. at the time of application. Applicants must have
completed an undergraduate degree from a Greek University on or before
August 1, 2012, with a Grade Point Average of at least 8.0/10.

Registration Deadline with Fulbright Foundation in Greece: April 8, 2011
Application Deadline is May 9th , 2011
